Holy Smoke Tasting Fundraiser

Cherokee County Ministerial Association is having a fundraiser on September 17 from 5:30-7:00 pm at St. William Catholic Church. Come and support this worthy ministry that helps so many people in our community.

Women’s Ministries Picnic

Sunday, September 20 at 12 Noon at Hoots ‘N Hollers on US 141 (approximately 1-1/2 miles from Julie’s Place on the left). Burgers,
hotdogs, buns, and drinks will be furnished. Bring your favorite picnic food to pass and a lawn chair and join us for a fun afternoon with a devotional, games, and singing.

Men’s Jail Ministry

Fourth Annual Fall Church Social

Plan to meet at 4:00 pm at the home of David and Arelis Graves, 3130 Candy Mountain Road in Murphy.on October 17. We will
close out the Sabbath with vespers, charades, music and food. Don’t forget your lawn chairs.

Fall Community Festival

Food, fun, games-Invite your neighbors, friends, and members of our community to come out and get to know each other.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. This is going to take the whole church and school working together. A Volunteer Sheet is located in the foyer. Contact Ruth Danhires. If you can’t volunteer, you may want to consider a cash donation marked “Community Outreach” or “Evangelism.” More details to follow.

New Church Roof

Our church roof has been patched, however within the next 4 years a new roof will be needed. Estimated cost for replacement is $55,000. Donations can be made by marking your title envelopes “Roof” or go to online giving and choose “Capital Maintenance Fund.”

Blessing Box – We have a blessing box located at the church driveway entrance. Donations of books and/or canned/boxed foods are always welcome!

Project Shield – This ministry supplies personal feminine kits for young girls in Kenya and other nations. Donations for gallon Ziplock freezer bags, clothes pins and personal feminine supplies are needed. If you would like to be a volunteer, please contact Sandi Stockman.

Tools For Schools – Ingles Markets sponsor Tools For Schools, a points program that provides classroom equipment.
